This Autumn has seen our hard work of the last few years recognised with a variety of different awards coming our way , probably the most important and one of which both Pat and I are very proud is to have been named as ‘Licensees of the Year’ 2008 by the Good Pub Guide . We believe this really reflects the wide ranging appeal of The Bell , not only in the quality of our food but also of the ambience , the location , our suppliers and of course the professionalism of our staff , without whom we could not have achieved this award . So to everyone involved with The Bell we would like to offer a very big ‘thankyou’.
In addition to this award ‘The Good Pub Guide’2008 also named The Bell as one of the top ten pubs within the UK .
‘Taste of the West’ have also awarded us a Gold Award in their annual awards recognising those businesses that use and promote local suppliers , at the time of writing in early November 2007 the organisation is still judging all the ‘Gold’ winners for the award of South West Dining Pub of the Year , which we have previously won in 2002 and 2005 .
